Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Charlotte to deliver personalized eyecare and support a team of doctors and staff. No optical experience is required as training and tools will be provided to learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

This role reports to the Office General Manager. Some weekend and evening shifts are required. You will help patients see, look, and be their best by guiding them through frame and lens options and ensuring a high-quality visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related position preferred (Retail, Hospitality or Optical), but not required.
• Proactive problem-solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using knowledge of product lines and options.
• Deliver sales plans and office goals through a patient-focused experience built on trust.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy in interactions.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
