LensCrafters in Fort Myers, FL seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring top-quality optometric care and flawless patient service. You will help patients select frames, explain tests, and support the doctor-retail workflow with diligence and courtesy.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing prescriptions, managing contact lens orders, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, while staying current on promotions and merchandise offers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with their eyewear needs.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Coordinate with Optician, Managing Doctor or Retail Management as needed.
• Operate POS system and handle payments securely.
• Maintain organized patient records under HIPAA.
• Place contact lens orders and process shipments.
• Keep store displays visually appealing and in line with guidelines.
• Respond quickly to changes in promotions and communicate updates to staff.
