Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to join our Manteno, IL team. You will support doctors and staff in delivering a best-in-class vision care experience, guiding patients through eyewear choices, and providing outstanding customer service.

No optical experience is required; training and tools will be provided to learn about frames, lenses, and insurance benefits while contributing to a patient-centered, fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales role.
• Desire to learn about the optical industry and products.
• Ability to meet office goals with a positive attitude.
• Friendly, caring approach and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service during eyewear selection.
• Educate patients on frame, lens options and best fit.
• Help achieve sales goals by delivering a strong patient experience.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly.
• Use training to fit and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Assist with optometric tasks in partnership with the Office Optometrist.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy to patients.
• Support other office duties as needed.
