The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and adoption of new technology to sustain growth in a busy eyecare environment. Experience in healthcare management and a valid optical license are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 4+ years management/supervisory experience, preferably in eyecare/healthcare.
• Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
• Proven track record of delivering results and growth.
• Excellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis.
• Familiarity with technology, such as POS, patient record systems, and other software applications.
• Strong communicator and listener.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with managing and associate doctors to ensure high patient care standards and workflow efficiency.
• Leads team performance, coaching, inspiring, and developing staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Recruits and builds a talent pipeline for succession.
• Monitors operations, provides on-the-job training per policy and procedure.
• Analyzes practice financial data and makes recommendations to improve profitability.
• Controls profits and expenses through operations, insurance claims accuracy, labor, and supplies.
