Job summary

Rosin Eyecare, a private practice affiliated with TeamVision (Luxottica), seeks a Managing Optometrist to lead the clinical team at our Northbrook location. You will oversee optometrists, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive practice growth in collaboration with the store manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry, demonstrate strong leadership, and possess up-to-date clinical and business skills to deliver exceptional service while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry with demonstrated leadership/management skills.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of sound business management practices.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling vision for the future, develop clear goals and operating plans ensuring executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the store manager and field leader.
• Set and communicate clear objectives and expectations, demonstrate commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability for Associate ODs.
• Ensure Standard of Care is met as agreed upon by the private practice owner.
• Lead and manage Associate ODs to deliver unsurpassed patient excellence.
• Forecast optometrist staffing needs based on available information and collaborate on scheduling.
