Job summary

OCLI Vision is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to guide patients through their surgical journey, coordinating scheduling, clearances, and pre/post-operative instructions. You will educate patients, collect insurance information, and maintain EMR documentation to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in ophthalmology knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries and manage changes.
• Educate patients on procedures and pre-op instructions.
• Collect and document patient and insurance information.
• Coordinate medical clearances.
• Perform IOL measurements and clinical testing.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collect patient payments.
• Support physicians and deliver an outstanding patient experience.
