Job summary

Luxottica's Stein Optometric in Burbank is seeking an Optometric Technician to support eye exams, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth flow from check-in to check-out. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient care, and collaboration with the Optometrist and staff.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in optometry or a healthcare setting, knowledge of optical terminology, and the ability to operate diagnostic testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in optometry, ophthalmology or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical terminology and diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage patient records and flow.
• Perform tests aiding optometrist: visual acuity, depth/color perception, imaging.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; coordinate with team for care.
• Maintain records, assist with contact lens exams and orders.
