Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Customer Service Representative to efficiently confirm, cancel and reschedule medical appointments for patients while delivering exceptional service. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, in a call center environment, with an hourly rate of $16-$17.

Responsibilities include answering calls, verifying patient demographics, providing appointment details, documenting interactions in the electronic medical records system, and following HIPAA

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 year of customer service experience in call center, retail, or medical office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using Internet resources and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers.
• Reschedule and cancel medical appointments accurately.
• Verify patient demographics for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide appointment details and prep information to patients.
• Document all interactions in the EMR system.
• Follow up to confirm appointments and remind patients of visits.
• Collaborate with team to resolve scheduling issues and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed by supervisor.
