Job summary

AEG Vision in Springfield, OH seeks a Practice Manager to lead a patient-centered, high-performing optical practice. You will inspire and develop the team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results.

The role requires strategic leadership, partnership with the Optometrist, and a focus on operations and patient experience. As the primary on-site leader, you will guide staff, manage schedules, oversee patient flow, and align processes with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, observation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and service execution across the practice.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, aligning team priorities with patient care standards.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow and clinical service alignment.
• Coach and develop staff, set expectations, and monitor performance against goals.
• Support new hire development, training, and adoption of systems and AI-enabled tools.
• Ensure operational accuracy across systems, transactions, and documentation.
• Communicate priorities to the team and drive continuous improvement in patient experience.
