Job summary

Affinity Eye Care Group (AEG) is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire and support a team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results on-site in Texas. This hands-on leadership role focuses on daily operations, patient flow, and staff development to prepare for expanded responsibility over time.

The role involves floor-level collaboration across patient care coordination, optical sales and service, and clinical support, with accountability for service

Qualifications

• Experience in optical, healthcare, retail, or service operations.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple practice positions to support patient care and operations.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and follow-up in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily practice operations and patient flow.
• Assist on the practice floor across functions (patient care, optical sales, technician support).
• Participate in onboarding, coaching, and training reinforcement.
• Communicate daily priorities and service standards to the team.
• Work with the Practice Manager and Optometrist to support exam flow and team readiness.
