Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic preparation including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, registration and account setup
• Handle phone communications and routing messages to physicians and staff
• Accurately report patient and referring physician information
• Distribute messages per practice standards
• Demonstrate professionalism and act as a role model
• Manage in-basket requests, referrals, and patient care inquiries
• Understand insurance coverage rules and eligibility/benefits
• Complete mandatory insurance training and maintain competency
• Initiate and secure prior authorizations as needed
