SOUTH TEXAS VISION ASSOC PA in San Antonio, TX seeks an Eye Care Assistant Manager with potential to become Optical Manager to join our leadership team. The role oversees optical services, staff, and collaboration with doctors to deliver high-quality care.

Opportunity to grow into Optical Manager while focusing on patient satisfaction, inventory control, policies, and marketing initiatives within a modern practice.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an optometric practice or a large optical retail operation.
• Experience in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee optical service activities and personnel.
• Plan and coordinate staff training.
• Work collaboratively with the doctors to implement high patient satisfaction and quality care.
• Maintain frame inventory and lab inventory/lab organization.
• Establish and enforce office policies and procedures.
• Have a superior knowledge of vision plans such as Eyemed, VSP and Spectera.
• Responsible for marketing/promotions including trunk shows and patient appreciation programs.
• Oversee social media campaigns and programs.
• Oversee optical patient satisfaction and problem prevention and problem solving.
