Job summary

Spectrum Eye Physicians in San Jose, Cupertino, and Los Gatos seeks a friendly, customer-focused front desk person to support patient flow across multiple Santa Clara County locations. You will greet patients, schedule, collect payments, verify insurance, and ensure a smooth check-in experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in the medical field is a plus but not required.
• Hands-on training will be provided to set you up for success.
• Background in optometry or ophthalmology is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the practice by answering calls and transferring as needed.
• Book appointments by phone, online requests, or in person.
• Collect copays, deductible and understanding patient benefits.
• Verify insurance information and enter details into the system.
• Keep patients informed about wait times and help during busy periods.
