Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to join our on-site store team in a fast-paced retail optical environment. You will warmly greet patients, facilitate the flow between clinical services and retail, and support sales while upholding brand standards.

Your role includes basic pre-tests, scheduling, and assisting with patient history and simple repairs to ensure accurate, timely eyeglasses delivery. A customer-centric, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse patients and staff.
• Empathetic approach with strong listening and rapport-building skills.
• Capacity to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset to support retail and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers to create a positive first impression and assist with promotions.
• Foster partnership between retail team and professional services.
• Schedule appointments, collect patient history, and perform basic pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure timely updates on orders.
• Maintain brand standards and assist in lab and repair workflow to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support delivery times and patient satisfaction goals; perform other duties as needed.
• Keep work areas organized and report equipment issues or delays promptly.
