Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to work with store leadership and the Ross Investigative & Safety Center to mitigate external theft and fraud. The role involves monitoring for suspicious activity, coordinating with law enforcement, and ensuring a safe, secure store environment.

The ideal candidate collaborates with partners, communicates effectively, and delivers thorough incident reports while complying with security regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with applicable federal and state laws for security positions.
• Background screening, fingerprinting, and/or drug and alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate external theft and fraud by monitoring store activities and assisting customers.
• Coordinate with law enforcement to resolve external theft incidents and trespass subjects.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by coordinating with local law enforcement and addressing hazards.
• Alert management to operational gaps contributing to theft (e.g., fitting room, front end, building security).
• Document detailed incident narratives and evidence in company databases and share with leadership.
