Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in various store departments are helpful.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership in a safe-work environment.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members; supervise day-to-day operations.
• Implements strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintain store appearance and presentation to Meijer standards.
• Disciplinary actions and promotion decisions as needed.
• Ensure training and safety compliance; promote a positive image.
