Job summary

Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Express Service Advisor to educate customers on routine maintenance, recommend services, and provide updates through the service process. You will schedule appointments, create repair orders, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

The role offers uncapped commission, with a pay range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, and a schedule that includes Mondays through Saturdays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience required.
• Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and sell service recommendations.
• Self-motivated, driven individual with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer service appointments.
• Determine vehicle maintenance and repair needs based on customer feedback, inspections, and mileage.
• Create repair orders including service recommendations, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Obtain customer authorization for recommended services and collect payment.
• Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely service completion.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and follow up regarding service satisfaction.
