Job summary

Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ seeks an Experienced Service Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of automotive systems. You will work closely with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have 2+ years of technician experience, own tools, and a valid Arizona driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service technician experience.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must own your tools.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Execute work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Communicate additional service or repair needs to the Service Advisor, including estimated completion times
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and parts used
• Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications

Schedule: Shifts Vary | Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturdays 7am-5pm

Our Chapman Chevrolet dealership in Tempe is currently seeking Experienced Service Technicians to join our service department. Our technicians play a critical role in the customer's vehicle ownership experience by delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance services and repairs. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department.
