Job summary

Germain Subaru in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Express Service Advisor to manage the express lane—oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance—with speed, accuracy, and a great customer experience.

You'll greet customers quickly, write up routine maintenance, review inspections, and keep cars moving by monitoring cycle times and routing larger repairs when needed. Competitive hourly pay and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a service advisor or in fast-paced customer service.
• Ability to multitask and move multiple repair orders efficiently.
• Basic understanding of routine vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication to build trust with customers on-site.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Bilingual ability is a plus; ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet express-lane customers quickly and set clear expectations on wait time.
• Write up routine maintenance and quick-turn repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Walk customers through multi-point inspection findings and recommend needed maintenance.
• Keep cars moving through the express bay and monitor cycle times.
• Communicate if a vehicle should go to the main shop for larger repairs.
• Build trust through clear, honest communication.
