Job summary

Volvo-of-Seattle in Seattle, WA is seeking an Express Service Advisor to manage the express lane. You will write up guest concerns quickly, capture mileage and service history, and set clear wait times and service scope, while maintaining a welcoming, hospitality-focused approach.

The role emphasizes transparent communication of inspection results, scheduling, and steady guest updates. A background in hospitality or guest-facing service is a strong plus, and express lane experience with Volvo

Qualifications

• Guest-facing service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred; prior service advisor or Volvo brand experience is a strong plus.
• Clear, calm communicator who stays organized when the lane is busy.
• Genuine care for the guest experience and respect in every interaction.
• Comfortable with DMS platforms or quick to learn them.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Write up express service guests quickly and accurately, capturing concerns, mileage, and history.
• Communicate inspection results clearly and honestly, presenting recommendations transparently.
• Manage a fast-moving write-up queue and keep guests informed on status.
• Coordinate with express technicians to maintain throughput and schedule.
• Handle guest questions and minor escalations with a solution-first approach.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS throughout every transaction.

• Write up express service guests quickly and accurately -- capturing vehicle concerns, mileage, and service history and setting clear expectations for wait time and service scope
• Communicate multi-point inspection results to guests clearly and honestly -- presenting additional service recommendations with transparency and without pressure
• Manage a fast-moving write-up queue and keep guests proactively informed on status throughout their visit
• Coordinate with express technicians to keep lane throughput moving efficiently and on schedule
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and minor escalations with composure and a solution-first approach
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS throughout every transaction
