Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Seattle Volvo store in Seattle, WA is seeking an Express Service Advisor to greet guests, capture concerns, and set expectations in the express lane.

You will write up service requests quickly, communicate inspection results honestly, and keep guests informed while coordinating with express technicians to ensure smooth throughput and timely service.

A hospitality background is welcome; the pay is $20–$25 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities at Swickard.

Qualifications

• Clear, calm communicator who stays organized in a busy express lane.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Write up express service guests quickly and accurately—capture concerns, mileage, and service history.
• Communicate multi-point inspection results clearly and honestly—present additional recommendations transparently.
• Manage a fast-moving write-up queue and keep guests informed of status.
• Coordinate with express technicians to maintain lane throughput and schedule.
• Address guest questions and minor escalations with composure and a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS for every transaction.

• Write up express service guests quickly and accurately -- capturing vehicle concerns, mileage, and service history and setting clear expectations for wait time and service scope
• Communicate multi-point inspection results to guests clearly and honestly -- presenting additional service recommendations with transparency and without pressure
• Manage a fast-moving write-up queue and keep guests proactively informed on status throughout their visit
• Coordinate with express technicians to keep lane throughput moving efficiently and on schedule
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and minor escalations with composure and a solution-first approach
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS throughout every transaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Guest-facing service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred -- prior service advisor or Volvo brand experience a strong plus
• Clear, calm communicator who stays organized and composed when the lane is busy
• Genuine care for the guest experience -- Volvo owners are brand-loyal and values-driven and they remember advisors who treated them with real respect
• Comfortable with DMS platforms or quick to learn them
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
