Job summary

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lockport, IL is seeking an Express Lane Service Advisor to join our growing service department. The role offers weekly pay plus monthly commission based on performance and opportunities for career growth.

You will greet customers, interpret needs for technicians, and act as the primary contact for express lane repairs while delivering excellent service and sales results.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years Express or Service Advisor experience.
• CDJR experience strongly preferred.
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred.
• Tech savvy – use of computer systems and iPad.
• Excellent communication and sales skills in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers immediately upon arrival.
• Consult and interpret customer needs for technicians.
• Utilize customer service and sales skills to drive sales.
• Serve as primary contact for express lane repairs and service matters.
• Understand problems and arrange for appropriate service.
• Prioritize services and offer options.
• Set and manage expectations of service delivery.
• Keep customer updated on repair needs and completion times.
• Advise on factory and dealer recommendations and prioritization.
• Verify multipoint inspections are completed and reviewed with each customer.
• Follow company policy and Code of Business Conduct & Ethics.
• Complete required quarterly and yearly OSHA training.
