Job summary

Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is seeking an Express Lube Technician to perform lubrication, fluid inspections, and oil/filter replacements at customer sites. You will collect oil samples, monitor inventories, and recommend additional services as part of inspections.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a shop service role, a valid license, and the ability to work overtime. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL/DOT certification a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and service software.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by job and customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels (engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.).
• Inject grease using hand or air-powered grease gun.
• Drain oil and refill to correct levels.
• Collect oil samples for testing.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Recommend additional services during inspections.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of oil and filters.
• Inform customers of upcoming service and future needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
