Carter Machinery Company, Inc. is hiring an Express Lube Technician in Richmond, VA, with a third shift. Starting pay ranges from $20.83 to $38.28 per hour plus shift differential.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. You will service and lubricate machinery, perform inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform responsibilities at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment in the field and on customer sites.
• Proficiency in using a computer and service software.
• Must be able to work overtime as required by job and customer demand.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL/DOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of various types of machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels for engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc., and top off as needed.
• Inject grease into units using hand or air-powered grease guns.
• Sample fluids using the CAT SOS system; submit to fluid lab for analysis.
• Inspect air filters and replace as necessary; fuel machines to appropriate levels.
• Monitor Vision Link to assess machine utilization and recommend servicing needs.
• Fully inspect machines and submit detailed inspections via CAT Inspect.
• Inform customers of upcoming service dates and future service recommendations.
• Collaborate with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals.
• Perform other related duties as agreed with customers.
