Carter Machinery Co. Inc. is seeking an Express Lube Technician in a weekend shift in Dulles, VA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, lubrication of machinery, fluid checks, filter replacements, and recommending follow-up services.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a shop service environment, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain CDL/DOT certification. Strong mechanical aptitude and field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have an excellent driving record and ability to obtain a CDL or DOT certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work at customer sites with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of various machinery with specified lubricants.
• Inspect fluid levels for engine, hydraulics, transmission, etc.
• Inject grease into units using hand or compressed-air grease gun.
• Drain oil and refill with required amount.
• Collect oil samples for testing.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Recommend other services during inspection reviews with customers.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of oil, filters, etc.
• Inform customers of upcoming service due dates and recommend future services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
