Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking an experienced Express Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role focuses on selling guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to group customers, maintaining accounts, conducting site inspections, and generating new business.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of full-service hotel sales experience.
• Successful experience with hotel business development.
• Experience working with CVB teams and partner hotels.
• Experience working with complex sales agreements.
• Experience selling a destination as well as a property.
• Training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills.
• Experience working with highly experienced Global Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

• Target group accounts with a focus on 10-100 rooms on peak within the assigned geographic, vertical and/or territory market.
• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated efforts.
• Identify, qualify and solicit new business to achieve revenue goals.
• Achieve monthly room night, revenue and individual business goals.
• Close opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and priorities.
• Maintain understanding of market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop relationships through calls, FAM trips, trade shows and site inspections.
• Prepare contracts and proposals that meet customer needs and hotel objectives.
• Ensure smooth turnover to Conference Services.
