Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking a full-time Hotel Sales Coordinator in Dallas, TX to support the Sales department and the General Manager. You will coordinate pre-event, event, and post-event activities and liaise with multiple hotel departments to execute client visions and maximize revenue.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, communication, and organization skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years executive office experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Writer.
• Must have strong communication and detail-oriented work style.
• Ability to work in a fast paced business and handle deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates pre-event, event and post-event phases to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Maintains ongoing communication across hotel departments to align goals and tasks.
• Manages group contracts and posting masters in PMS; balances groups for payment processing.
• Prepares agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.
• Generates leads via internet prospecting, networking, and telemarketing.
• Updates sales database with activity, call reports, and history; coordinates social media and guest visits.
