Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Global Trade Analyst to support ITAR/EAR compliance and export controls across Missile Products programs from NGDS offices in Linthicum, MD, Rocket Center WV, McLean VA or Plymouth MN.

You will interpret regulations, work with Contracts, Supply Chain, Engineering and Programs to determine export/import needs, prepare authorizations, and ensure full regulatory compliance while supporting business objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6+ years of international trade compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of international trade compliance experience.
• Master’s degree with a minimum of 1+ years of international trade compliance experience.
• Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and interpretation of USG regulations (ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott, Census, Customs).
• Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, New Business to determine export/import needs.
• Prepare and submit export/import authorization requests and manage post-approval activities such as recordkeeping and reporting.
• Assist Global Trade Manager to develop strategies for regulatory compliance.
• Present in meetings and training sessions, addressing questions from management, employees, customers and vendors.
• Support corrective actions and resolve export/import control issues with internal and external customers.
