Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Global Trade Analyst to support the Missile Products Business Unit from offices in WV, MD, VA, or MN. The role focuses on interpreting US trade regulations and guiding internal functions in export/import compliance.

You will liaise with Contracts, SCM, Engineering and Program Management to ensure compliant international programs, prepare approvals, and train teams on regulatory requirements. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years in international trade compliance
• Bachelor’s with 2+ years in international trade compliance
• Master’s with 1+ years in international trade compliance
• Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR and other US export regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and interpretation of ITAR, EAR, BATFE, anti-boycott regulations, US Census and customs regulations
• Coordinate with contracts, supply chain, program management and engineering to determine export/import needs
• Prepare and submit export/import authorization requests and manage post-approval activities
• Assist Global Trade Manager to develop strategies ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Present in meetings and training and respond to questions on export/import compliance
• Support corrective action and negotiate export/import control issues with customers and vendors
