Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Trade Compliance professional in the United States to guide ITAR/EAR interpretation, prepare export/import authorizations, and ensure cross‑functional regulatory compliance across contracts and programs.

You will collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Engineering and Legal teams, maintain thorough recordkeeping, and support audits while balancing business needs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum education depends on experience: HS + 6+ years, or Bachelor's + 2+ years, or Master's + 1+ years in international trade compliance.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR and related US government export regulations is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and interpretation of ITAR, EAR, BATFE, and related regulations.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, and New Business to assess export/import needs.
• Prepare and submit export/import authorization requests and manage post-approval activities.
• Support strategy development to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Present in meetings and training sessions; respond to questions on export/import compliance.
• Assist in corrective actions and negotiate issues with internal/external customers.
