Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers – Old Town in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Expo to keep the flow of food from kitchen to dining area smooth. You will coordinate with kitchen staff, servers and management to ensure accurate orders, timely plating and high-quality presentation.

This role requires excellent multitasking, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for delivering top-notch food and service. Training provided for POS systems including Aloha, Hot Schedule and Paylocity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to relay order details, special requests, and substitutions.
• Monitor and prioritize food orders to ensure correct sequence and delivery.
• Ensure plates leaving the kitchen are presented and meet quality standards.
• Double-check each order for accuracy before sending to dining area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and food storage to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Assist in expediting takeout and delivery orders to ensure timely service.
• Collaborate with servers and management to address guest concerns promptly.
• Provide support to kitchen during peak hours and uphold health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
