Job summary

Sloomoo Institute Llc is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Los Angeles to support the General Manager in daily operations, guest flow, and team supervision. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining standards, and coaching staff to uphold Sloomoo’s playful culture.

The AGM will work with the GM on staffing, inventory, and operational execution, while ensuring safety and adherence to policies. This is a full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, hospitality, retail, entertainment, or guest-facing management.
• Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, direct communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Run daily floor operations as manager on duty, including opening/closing, guest flow, and experience.
• Supervise Leads and Slimetenders, assign work, coach performance.
• Interview candidates and make hiring recommendations.
• Publish schedules and manage coverage within labor budget.
• Own onboarding and station certification for new team members.
• Monitor safety standards and ensure timekeeping compliance.
