Job summary

Sloomoo Institute is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations at our Tysons location. The AGM will supervise the floor, support Leads and Slimetenders, manage staffing, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The role involves monitoring labor costs, enforcing safety and policies, and partnering with Marketing for in-venue activations, while upholding our joyful, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, hospitality, retail, or guest-facing leadership.
• Experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Minimum age: 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the location to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise floor operations and coach Leads and Slimetenders.
• Assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage.
• Monitor labor costs and operational performance.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Support merchandising, inventory awareness, and product availability.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and incident reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness across the experience.
• Partner with HQ Marketing for in-venue activations.
• Escalate operational concerns to the General Manager as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
