Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Events Lead to create exceptional experiences for customers and employees, including VIP launch campaigns, and broad event programs. You will manage end-to-end event planning, vendor sourcing, budgeting, and on-site execution while collaborating with multiple teams and ensuring security clearances for sensitive facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in event planning or hospitality.
• Hands-on experience in venue sourcing, event design, vendor procurement, décor, food & beverage, logistics and entertainment.
• Comfortable using AI for work-related tasks.
• Strong communication; highly organized; ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel domestically and flexibility in schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events, tours, and customer experiences from start to finish, including vendor coordination.
• Coordinate conference sponsorship activations and events with internal teams.
• Develop event agendas, registration pages, and guest invites; liaise with executive customers.
• Provide onsite event support, including receptions and weekend events.
• Design branding elements to enhance attendee experiences.
• Handle department administration: supplies, budget tracking, payments, shipping, and inventory with fulfillment.
• Utilize AI to improve efficiencies and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with merchandising for gifting and branded décor items.
• Coordinate with security to obtain guest clearances and comply with base regulations.
