Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Events Lead to plan and execute VIP launch campaigns, customer and employee events, and high-profile experiences. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, sourcing venues, vendors, and managing complex logistics across a fast-paced environment.

You will leverage AI to streamline processes, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional attendee experiences while maintaining compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in event planning or hospitality.
• Experience planning VIP launch campaigns and events.
• Comfortable using AI to assist work tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute launch, internal, and customer events from start to finish, overseeing vendors such as venue, transportation, catering, A/V and entertainment.
• Negotiate and execute conference sponsorship activations and events, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Develop agendas, registration pages, invite lists, and communicate with high-level executive customers.
• Provide onsite event management including evening receptions and weekend events.
• Ideate and implement branding elements to enhance attendee experiences.
• Lead department admin tasks: budgeting, supply ordering, payment processing, shipping, inventory.
• Utilize AI to create efficiencies and automate department processes and workflows.
• Coordinate with Merchandising for gifting and branded décor items.
• Work with security teams to ensure guest security clearances and Air Force base regulations compliance.
