Aspire Talent Solutions in Cleveland is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join a respected Ohio law office. You will support attorneys by managing claims, filings, and deadlines with precision.

Responsibilities include preparing hearings, drafting pleadings, organizing medical records, coordinating IMEs, and communicating with clients and providers to ensure timely, accurate submissions.

Qualifications

• At least three years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting.
• Working knowledge of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and ICO procedures.
• Paralegal certificate, related degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and complete time-sensitive assignments.
• Sound judgment and a proactive approach to attorney support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workers’ compensation claims for administrative hearings.
• Draft pleadings, claim summaries, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Request, organize, and review medical records.
• Coordinate independent medical examinations and prepare summary correspondence.
• Monitor case activity, filing requirements, and critical deadlines.
• Submit documents electronically to courts and administrative agencies.
• Proofread filings for accuracy and compliance with applicable rules.
• Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and outside parties.
• Identify potential issues and elevate them appropriately.
