Fountain Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our welcoming front desk team in Colorado. This part-time role supports a four-doctor practice, ensuring seamless scheduling, client communication, and patient flow without nights or weekends.

You will greet clients, manage multi-doctor calendars, handle payments, and assist with estimates and hospital policies, while contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception experience.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence managing phones, appointments, payments, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer incoming calls, route calls appropriately, and respond to voicemails promptly.
• Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor calendar.
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information.
• Collect payments and process invoices.
• Review estimates with clients and answer appropriate questions.
• Clearly communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information.
• Manage medical record requests, reminders, and routine administrative tasks.
• Maintain an organized front desk and welcoming lobby environment.
