Job summary

Qualifications
- Previous structural steel decking experience required.
- Experience installing metal deck on commercial steel structures.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work at heights and lift 50+ lbs.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Install metal roof and floor decking on structural steel buildings.
- Lay out, position, and secure metal decking.
- Install sidelaps, closures, and pour stops.
- Operate screw guns, welding equipment, and powder-actuated tools as required.
- Read and interpret structural drawings and deck layouts.
- Work safely at heights while maintaining OSHA safety standards.
- Work efficiently with the steel erection crew to keep projects on schedule.
