Job summary
Central Texas Steel Erectors in the Greater Austin area is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team. You will safely operate hydraulic and lattice cranes on commercial construction projects and ensure daily inspections.
We offer a starting pay of $40 per hour, a company truck, full-time steady work, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team focused on safety and quality in structural steel erection.
Qualifications
- Must hold NCCCO Crane Operator Certification or equivalent.
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record.
- Experience operating cranes on commercial construction or steel erection projects.
- Experience operating TLL and LBC cranes.
- Strong understanding of load charts and rigging practices.
- Authorized to work in the United States and local to Greater Austin area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate hydraulic and crawler cranes on commercial construction projects.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Work closely with steel erection crews, riggers, and project managers.
- Lift and place structural steel safely and efficiently.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain professionalism on every jobsite.
