Shelby Erectors, Inc. is seeking a Metal Deck Installer to support bridge deck construction across multiple Florida sites. You will work with a small, tight-knit crew to install corrugated metal deck pans that form the foundation for concrete decks, requiring physical endurance and teamwork in outdoor environments.

This full-time field role involves site-to-site travel, working at heights, and lifting heavy materials, with competitive hourly pay and benefits after the initial employment period.

Qualifications

• Active construction environment experience required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety practices.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Install corrugated metal deck pans as part of a crew.
• Weld or fasten angle iron to beams and set deck pans to form system.
• Measure, fit, and align deck pans to project specs.
• Travel between active jobsites and work in various weather conditions.
• Follow established jobsite safety practices and look out for crew safety.
