Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Structural Steel Foreman to supervise installation teams in data center projects with travel across the Central Texas region. You will lead field execution, oversee racks, containment, and pathway installations, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

You will review drawings and submittals, coordinate material needs, and collaborate with Superintendents, Engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality results while maintaining rigorous QA/QC

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data center installation or skilled trades.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Telehandler.
• Minimum of 2 years of Foreman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field execution.
• Ability to supervise crews and coordinate daily workflow.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC and construction safety requirements.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Superintendents, Engineers, and project teams.
• Minimum of 10 years iron worker background.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• OSHA Training Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for assigned installation scopes or project areas.
• Coordinate rack, containment, and pathway installation activities with field teams.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and detailing relevant to assigned project areas.
• Order miscellaneous materials and coordinate material needs with project leadership.
• Initiate Requests for Information (RFIs) to address field conditions or clarify scope.
• Assist with initial project setup including layout, logistics, and work planning.
• Support punch list development, management, and closeout.
• Complete and maintain QA/QC checklists to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support the Superintendent with daily coordination, reporting, and field execution.
• Enforce all site safety requirements and assist with safety meetings and job hazard analysis.
• Provide leadership and supervision to assigned installation crews.
• Demonstrate high levels of accountability, teamwork, and communication.
