Gardner-Watson Decking, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Deck Installer/Welder to install sheet metal decking on steel framing while performing shear stud installation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather. The role requires proficiency with hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools, tool maintenance, and reporting time via technology, with 100% nationwide travel.

Qualifications

• Experience installing sheet metal decking on steel framing.
• Capable of nationwide travel (100%).
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work at heights up to 40 ft.

Responsibilities

• Lay and attach metal decking on steel structures.
• Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools safely.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Accurately report time and attendance using technology.
• Comply with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
