Job summary

The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates (The League) seeks a full-time Staff Accounting Clerk to join our Finance and Accounting team in Florida. You’ll manage AP/AR, perform reconciliations, and assist with GL maintenance while supporting month-end and year-end closing processes under supervision.

You will handle daily cash deposits, credit card processing, and ACH activities, ensuring accurate records. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in AP/AR or general bookkeeping roles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage or similar ERP software.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivots, formulas).
• Experience with credit card processing and online banking portals.

Responsibilities

• Process AP and AR, prepare invoices, statements, and adjust entries.
• Maintain vendor records, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform routine reconciliations and support GL maintenance.
• Oversee daily cash deposits, card processing, and ACH clearing activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closings with the Accounting Manager.
