St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations, maintain accurate ledgers, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, an associate degree in accounting or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, process-improvement mindset. This on-site role supports audits, reporting, and internal controls within a member-focused community.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or job-specific related skills through an apprenticeship or internship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries related to accruals, expenses, investments, and general ledger activity.
• Assist with month end close, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Use Excel to analyze data, prepare reconciliations, and support financial reporting.
• Reconcile and record daily settlement and cash clearing activity for various payment channels.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and related general ledger activity.
