Rocket City Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Huntsville, AL. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional growth, and a supportive workplace that values your contributions.

We offer an hourly compensation of $45–$55 depending on experience, a day shift, and a benefits package including health coverage, retirement plan, PTO, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP with ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.

Formation

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current SLP and ASHA CCC certification in Alabama

2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred)

Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation

Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration
