Haleyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Haleyville, AL is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team with a day shift and immediate hiring. The role offers an hourly pay rate of $40–$43 based on experience.

You will evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Collaboration with staff supports dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP with ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
