Decatur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Decatur, AL is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our compassionate therapy team. The role offers an immediate opening with day shifts, competitive hourly pay, and a supportive environment focused on growth and patient-centered care.

You will conduct evaluations, design evidence-based treatment plans, specialize in dysphagia management, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP license and ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting.
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
