Adams Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexander City, AL is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Therapy team. You will conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatment to residents, supporting quality of life and communication and swallowing health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license and ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
