Brookshire Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Huntsville, AL is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP and ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care
