Qualifications

• Must have customer-facing experience in a service role.
• Ability to identify vehicle problems quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automobiles and typical maintenance procedures.
• Proven track record of achieving customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as service advisor, lane manager, or service consultant is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new software and repair procedures.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of labor and parts.
• Establish follow-up time and monitor progress of each vehicle throughout the day.
• Update customers frequently and explain all completed work and charges.
